It’s Only Heavy if You Pick it Up

We’re now a few weeks into the American-wing of the Coronavirus. New York is already feeling the effects of overcrowded hospitals and healthcare workers on the front lines are reporting how dire the situation really is. We seem helpless to stop the overcrowding from reaching every major city. To say our collective hearts and minds are heavy is an enormous understatement.

Over three million people applied for unemployment in the first week of the Coronavirus lockdown—a record that dwarfs any other week in American history—and the stock market fell over 30% in like two days. Many people lost their jobs, their retirement, and a loved one in the span of a week.

19 Pretty Good Coronavirus Safety Tips for Humans

I realize many people are terrified of the days to come. I’m very concerned about what’s coming next and I’m afraid many of us will be deeply affected by this virus. This post isn’t meant to downplay the seriousness of the Coronavirus. The cartoons are sarcastic and meant for humor. If you’re one of those people who says things like, “Too soon” then this post probably isn’t for you. Some of us deal with stressful situations through humor. This is for those people. Enjoy.

January- The Worst Month We’ve Had All Year

Happy February. I think we can all agree January was a complete shitshow from day one. I’m glad it’s over. In late December I decided that it would be super fun to remain alcohol-free for the entire month of January because I make poor decisions. Being completely sober is overrated and so was January.
